What changes the price

Size and length

Several models come in more than one length. The Arcadia, for example, comes in five lengths from 4.3 m to 10.72 m (just under 11 m) long, all 3.59 m wide, and the price rises with the length. The Colorado comes in 4.3 ร— 4.3 m, 4.3 ร— 4.9 m and 4.3 ร— 6.1 m.

Single or double

A double carport covers more ground and needs a bigger frame and roof. The Sydney Wave double is about 5.7 m wide, twice the width of the single Sydney Wave cantilever at about 2.9 m.

Cantilever or posts

Cantilever carports stand on two posts on one side, so you can drive in and open the doors without posts in the way. In our range they start at $5,049 for the Arizona Wave 5000 at the time of writing.

Height

The Alpine is a taller version of the Arcadia, with an extension kit for caravans, RVs and lifted 4WDs. That extra height adds to the price.

Roof panels

Panel types differ between models, from 6 mm opaque twin-wall panels with Heat Block Technology to corrugated solar grey panels that let about 10% of the light through.

Other costs to plan for

The kit price covers the carport kit itself. When you budget, allow for:

  • The base. Our carports need a flat, level base. The Colorado’s instructions recommend a solid base such as concrete or asphalt, and the Sydney Wave carports require concrete footings.
  • Installation. The kits are designed for DIY assembly with pre-drilled profiles and pre-cut panels; the Arcadia and Alpine are described as designed to be installed by 2 people with no special tools. If you prefer, contact us and we can share installer details for your area.
  • Council fees, if approval is needed. Rules differ by state and council, so check before you buy. You can request the engineering certificate and calculations for your state on each product page.
  • Delivery. Check the delivery cost for your address at checkout.
  • Accessories. Some models take extras, such as curtains and netting for the Colorado (sold separately), or the Arizona Carport EZ Link Kit ($725 at the time of writing) to cover both your cars with Arizona carports.

Need a size that is not listed?

We also offer custom design carport kits that you design online: a custom single carport kit (from $4,850 at the time of writing) and a custom double carport kit (from $6,750).

Cantilever carport or 4-post carport?

A cantilever carport stands on posts on one side, so nothing gets in the way when you drive in or open the doors. A 4-post carport is simpler and usually costs less. Here is how to choose.
